DuPont Safety and Construction business is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler for Nomex at the Spruance site in Richmond, Virginia. Nomex provides lightweight, heat and flame-resistant performance for many applications around the world. Nomex Paper products offer high electrical and mechanical strength properties in applications such as motor, transformer and wire insulation, filtration, and honeycombed structures for aircraft.

Schedule Major Computerized Maintenance Management System CMMS Work Order Job Steps for Maximum Crew Efficiency
Responsibilities and Expectations:
Working with the Area Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper, on a daily and weekly basis, understand the SAP work orders that are to be placed on the daily and weekly maintenance work schedules for all crafts.
Assure that work orders selected by the Area Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper to be placed on the schedule have been coded as RTL (Released to Schedule) and that all parts, materials and external resources if required are available to complete the task without delay or interruption.
If there are constraints in regard to parts, equipment, and or internal/external resources, with work orders to be placed on the daily or weekly schedules, consult with the Area Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper in regard to priority and any adjustments to the schedules.
Working within the SAP Scheduling program, place each individual job step from Ready to Schedule work order into the scheduling program, based upon resource allocation data by craft, which is supplied weekly in daily format by the Maintenance First Line Supervision.
Assure all weekly and daily schedules are 100% resource loaded for all crafts, for both day shift and off hour's personnel.
Add job plan Operations Steps to work orders as necessary, so as to cater for steps that are carried over from the previous day.
Keep oneself abreast of the Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper's Four Week Look-A-Head schedule.
Generate repeating Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Planned Predictive Maintenance (PdM) work orders as per the schedule set in SAP and place them in the PPM/PdM work order backlog for the Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper to base load the four week Look-A-Head schedule.
If work selected by the Area Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper for both the daily and weekly schedule exceeds the resource allocation availability schedule as supplied by the Maintenance First Line Supervision, review the gaps with the Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper and omit those work orders which are the lowest in terms of priority.
Working within the SAP Scheduling Program, place all Self Planned Work on the daily and weekly schedule consistent with the direction and priorities established by the Area Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper.
Day to day, as both the weekly and daily schedules are finalized or updated, distribute these schedules to all individuals who are required to receive updates.
Lead the Daily Afternoon Maintenance Scheduling Meeting
Finalize the next day's work schedule by 1430 hrs such that it can be available for the daily maintenance work schedule meeting.
On a daily basis, remain in constant communication with the Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper and the Maintenance First Line Supervision so as to keep oneself current on the status of work schedule for the day and how this will impact tomorrow's schedule with "Carry Over" work orders.
Openly, willingly and with an encouraging attitude, accept constructive feedback from Mechanics to improve any aspect of Job Scheduling.
Attend the monthly Non-Scheduling Compliance Meeting held by the Operations Maintenance Gatekeeper, with a view to reduce scheduling losses.
Knowledge and Skills
The following are the critical knowledge and skills required to effectively perform the tasks and duties described above
o Detailed and working knowledge of the Maintenance Excellence Work Process.
o Complete functional knowledge of the Maintenance Excellence Metrics Guide Book as it pertains to Scheduling Metrics
o The CMMS Scheduling capacity planning and individual scheduling methodology in the CMMS (SAP).
o The CMMS Non-Compliance Codes and the Paretos that can be driven from this methodology
o Acute understanding and application of the Plant's Specific Key Drivers of Value, Customer Focus and Risk Mitigation.
o Basic economic skills of cost and benefit.
o Strong team-working skills and beliefs in the benefit of teamwork and work processes
o Enjoys solving complex problems
o Accurate and acute written and oral communications skills
o Meeting management and facilitation skills
o Desire to garner and use constructive work feedback in positive manner to improve personal performance

Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong SAP knowledge
Minimum of 4-5 years manufacturing experience.
