Chemours currently has two positions available for a Maintenance, Repair, Operations (MRO) Coordinator at our Washington Works site in Washington, WV.

The primary focus of this position is to requisition maintenance materials for emergency and planned orders; manage parts, material inventory and input mechanic work history in SAP in the area; and manage the storage and distribution of same. This role complements services provided by Stores and Suppliers by facilitating usage of existing material and enhancing material availability by supporting kitting and the material supply chain. This position will report to the Maintenance First Line Supervisor

Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Requisition maintenance materials for emergency and planned orders

  • Liaise with vendors for lead times, pricing, and follow-up of ordered materials via a MAC report in SAP.

  • Kit parts; maintain kiting buildings

  • Maintains delivery station/move material to storage areas

  • Tracks and completes annual Sub-stores inventory audit

  • Transports materials/parts from area to area (must be fork truck trained)

  • Tracks material status via reporting tool

  • Audits shop supplies and restock as needed

  • Inputs work history in SAP from mechanics shop paper

REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma or GED required * Knowledge of auto glass repair techniques, customer service, and geographical areas and landmark preferred * Knowledge of safe driving practices and basic Safelite Group policies and procedures * Ability to lift and carry heavy objects , operate various hand and power tools and equipment, and safely operate a motor vehicle * Ability to operate a personal computer and job related software at a basic level, operate a mobile device, and work in a fast-paced environment * Skill in providing word class service, verbal communications, and effective listening * Skill in performing basic mathematical calculations, accurately handling cash, and performing detailed work Apply now!
