Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Regional Cement Manager, the Regional Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the implementation of the company's Maintenance Standard Practices, Policies, Procedures and verifying that they are being followed in the field operations by performing audits. The individual in this job role also updates the Standards and distributes them to field operations. The SMM will work closely with Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance Personnel and Vendors. Provides guidance and assistance to the Regional Cement Manager on changes needed to improve or maintain job quality. Review company maintenance records to verify compliance of documented maintenance and required equipment certifications. The individual in this job role is responsible for the review of product line budget, staff training, safety, inventory control, record retention as required by Federal, State and local laws and regulations and all company policies and procedures. Reports equipment and employee status to the Regional Cement Manager as needed.

Key Accountabilities
Must have the ability and knowledge of scheduling Preventive Maintenance Programs and employee training program.
Have knowledge of company and governmental agency requirements and conduct maintenance audits. Works with operations to set procedures and timelines for any location that does not meet requirements and re-audits location to measure compliance and adjust procedures and timelines if needed.
Must have working knowledge of C&J's computerized maintenance management system and company purchasing process and policies and train end users.
Must be able to track and identify equipment failure trends and develop corrective actions to prevent future failures. Informs regional managers by written equipment bulletins of corrective actions and verify compliance.
Compose reports to the Regional Cement Manager on status of equipment maintenance.
Perform annual personnel performance reviews of regional maintenance manager. Work with Operations to set their goals to align with the Regional Cement Manager.
Work with equipment vendors and regional maintenance managers on new/rebuild equipment compliance throughout division.
Keeps current with OEM & regulating governmental body changes and assist with defining and implementing those changes to C&J's basic maintenance standards.
Assists with planning of capital asset rebuild program.
Has an understanding of cross divisional maintenance standards to prevent maintenance duplication.
Monitor company SharePoint site for updates on equipment bulletin and/or continuing product improvement documents. Tracks update compliance in regions.
Possess skills to operate, identify, maintain and troubleshoot company equipment
Identify personnel for future regional maintenance front line leaders
Works under no direct supervision with freedom to act in regards to work methodology
Ensures and supervises compliance with all company and client Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) practices and guidelines and training for all assigned staff
Ability to perform and complete work on their own as well as provide motivation and direction to other employees as needed
Must complete all required C&J's training and have a sound understanding of and support C&J's Policies and Procedures
Conduct safety meetings, hazard hunts and ensures JSA's are followed when in the districts.
Conduct maintenance meetings weekly / bi-weekly with district maintenance managers
Report unsafe acts, conditions or hazards immediately
Requires maintained eligibility to drive company vehicles.
Performs work on his/her own as well as providing assistance to others as directed.
Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor.
Performs the primary thinking called for and encompassed by the overall Position Definition.
Adheres to Company policies and work requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Pass the company's drug screen.
Pass the company's "Physical Functions Assessment". (if applicable)
Motor vehicle record qualifies individual to be an approved company driver.
Ability to read, write and speak English to the extent that they are able to understand verbal and written instructions as well as give verbal and written instructions in English; and the ability to use simple mathematical calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals (addition, subtraction, division and multiplication) to make job related calculations.
Skills required for this position are typically acquired through a combination of on-the-job training, formal education and experience
Must possess complete knowledge of basic hand tools and diagnostic tools
Position requires 50% travel time.

Required Experience and Education
High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
Basic computer skills required
Licensure to drive commercial vehicles is preferred but not required
Must have attained a minimum of 5 to 10 years on-the-job mechanical experience

Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities: * Maximize financial performance of the region by expanding the rentals and sales of Xylem products and services. * Grow and maintain an effective sales pipeline utilizing * Coach and mentor the regional sales team and own the OSR on-boarding process for all sales reps within the region. Provide input on each OSR's performance based on clearly communicated expectations. * Work in conjunction with Marketing to drive bid reporting services and lead management. * Identify, develop and implement local marketing strategies to expand penetration of Xylem's Dewatering's products. * Build company image by collaborating with marketing to drive new opportunities and brand recognition within the region. * Partner with the Branch Manager with establishing sales territories, goals, and forecast for OSR within the Region. * Assist Branch Managers and partner with Marketing to manage sales blitzes, trade shows and other trade organizations to drive sales within the Region. * Work with National Accounts Manager to both drive deeper penetration into existing national accounts and develop additional opportunities within region.
