Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Maintenance Program / Process Lead to work in our Maintenance department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our MFC facility with every Friday off.

Complete a variety of assignments supporting maintenance and operational activities. Demonstrate a commitment to, and hold others accountable to, the leadership maxims and Human Performance Improvement (HPI) Practices & Principles. Competent in Conduct of Operations, Conduct of Maintenance, Integrated Safety Management Systems (ISMS), Occurrence Reporting and Processing System (ORPS), self-assessment, Voluntary Protection Program (VPP), root cause analysis, regulatory compliance, Corrective Action Review Board (CARB), oversight.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Help oversee long-term goals for us according to INPO principles. (INPO 18-002 & 003,)

  • Lead the implementation of the Maintenance Strategic Plan developed by the Maintenance Manager.

  • Facilitate in the performance of assessments across the Maintenance Department to assess program strengths/weaknesses and ensure Continuous Improvement.

  • Write revisions to the OMI strategy annually and ensure all actions not captured in OMI are captured as Improvement Agenda.

  • Help develop new programs to support the best strategic direction of the organization.

  • Help coordinate cross-functional, multi-directorate programs to Identify, integrate, and develop projects that create modernization to ensure that assets are mission-ready for our work (i.e., Work Prioritization across MFC & INL)

  • Help maintain budgets.

  • Collaborate with the Work Control Manager and Work Execution Manager in writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.

  • Help shape the mentoring program in the organization.

  • Provide feedback to the Maintenance Manager in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality, and team member performance.

  • Assist the maintenance foremen in the implementation of Davis Bacon-covered tasks.

  • Meet with partners to make communication easy and transparent regarding maintenance and Davis Bacon project issues and decisions on services.

  • Help assess the PM Program and ensure all procedural requirements and Maintenance Manager expectations are met.

  • Support the development and documentation of functional and maintenance requirements with mission partners, facility tenants, end-users, and partners.

  • Be a delegate for Maintenance Manager, Work Control Manager, and Work Execution Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Masters-s Degree with six - eight (6 - 8) years of relevant experience, or

  • Bachelor-s Degree with nine - twelve (9 - 12) years of relevant experience, or

  • Associate-s Degree and eleven - thirteen (11 - 13) years of relevant experience, or

  • High School Diploma with thirteen - fifteen (13 - 15) years of relevant experience is required

Relevant experience includes Management in at least one of the following:

  • Maintenance

  • Operations

  • Leadership Development

  • Organizational Leadership

  • Construction

  • Human Resources

  • Nuclear Research

  • Program management.

  • Develop and write technical documents.

Experience with INPO principles in conduct of maintenance and operations.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy "L" clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

Job Information:

  • The pay range for this position is (75,804 - 155,496)/ (91,008 - 186,588). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.

  • TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
