ASSISTANT MANAGER OF FACILITIES
POSITION SUMMARY
To support and enhance the district's education process by assisting in the management of maintaining the school facilities in an excellent operating condition, while assuring their upkeep and safety in conformance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience (3-5 years) and training in the operation of a large or multiple site facility, including:
Managing a maintenance staff
Operating and maintaining HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems (license preferred)
Completing light construction projects, hands on
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong planning and record keeping skills
Some professional engineering training, e.g. Technical Associate's degree
Ability to work productively in a team-oriented workplace
Strong computer skills
Associates degree or higher
