Job Summary:
The Maintenance Planner will facilitate planned work assignments and projects for maintenance associates and contractors to ensure the tasks are performed to high quality standards and in an efficient and timely manner. They will plan, organize, coordinate and schedule maintenance tasks, plant projects or project assignments utilizing in-house maintenance associates, outside contractors or vendors. Position includes but is not limited to; project lay-out/scope of work, purchase of needed parts and/or materials from bill-of-material, basic specification and design and development of prints, submittal of contract bids for quote and award, project and contracted service oversight.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Estimate, plan and kit all work performed by maintenance associates and contractors in a cost-effective manner.
Provide detailed, step-by-step plans, parts, and materials to the maintenance associates, maintenance team leaders, and contractors which will allow them to efficiently complete/assign their work.
Own, manage project assignments, Bill of Materials, and other metrics to allow prompt scheduling and completion of work.
Responsible for sourcing and ordering parts.
Establish job scopes and time frames for all work requests and projects. Tasks may require:
Working knowledge of OSHA, DENSO standards, and IATF requirements. Understand environmental policies and safety requirement.
Root Cause Analysis
Maintain awareness of project GANTT charts, shutdown plans and communicate timelines to the maintenance CoC, customers, and contractors.
Report any problems, start-up issues or abnormal conditions; recommend countermeasures and solutions.
Support the team in investigating SH&E incidents, utilizing the help chain as defined by Area and SH&E procedures.

Required Qualifications:
High School diploma/GED from an accredited institution
Minimum 5 years of maintenance manufacturing experience
Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's degree in engineering or technology
Minimum 1 year of Maintenance Project Leader or Maintenance Planning experience
Advanced computer skills (Maximo, oracle, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Vocational or Technical school certification
Salary Range: $48,300-$60,500
