Maintenance Person contribute to the hotel's commitment to high quality guest service and teamwork and must be the kind of person who appreciates high standards of excellence.

The Maintenance Person creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment This position will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest suites, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest suite and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included.

The Maintenance Person will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills. A minimum of one year building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred. Good customer skills are also required.

Our Opportunity: The Model Risk Oversight (MRO) Governance team resides within MRO under the Corporate Risk Management organization at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. We build and maintain a framework of risks and controls both for internal self-assessment and external governance. We work with business lines across the company to ensure all models are identified and compliant with the Model Governance Policy. The Manager, Risk and Controls Audit will drive the buildout, maintenance, review, and testing of risk and control frameworks to ensure business lines are compliant with the Model Governance Policy and MRO is properly executing its oversight function. A significant amount of time will be spent with business units across the company to setup and test control frameworks for MRM-related activities. This role will be responsible for leading and reviewing work performed by junior control testers. What you'll do: * Lead a team of control testers by providing leadership and guidance on best practices, timely delivery and reporting of testing results to senior management * Drive buildout and maintenance of risk and control frameworks to comprehensively cover responsibilities of the MRO team and responsibilities of the business units, which own or develop models across the company * Provide support to various MRM teams, Model Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure the control framework is complete and properly executed * As needed, participate in other model governance related activities What you have: The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven ability to work in a risk and control environment. The candidate also has a clear focus on robust documentation, iterative control testing, and the ability to present requirements to other stakeholders and gain buy-in.
