ProTech Medical is looking for highly motivated individuals who want to be a part of a fast paced, rapidly growing company. This position is an opening to build a construction team to keep up with growth. Our Installer/Home Mod Team performs tasks from small home accessibility adjustments to larger home improvements that allow customers with wheelchairs and mobility limitations to stay in their homes. Responsible for creating work orders, changes orders, stay within budget and meeting guidelines. This position will be working directly with patients, family members, and insurance organizations to make home modifications and/or repairs to mobility equipment or household improvements.
Duties / Responsibilities include:
Perform minor home remodeling, (Wheelchair ramps, bathroom remodel, handicap accessibility)
Install vehicle lifts for wheelchairs
Develop and maintain working knowledge of current Home Mod products and services
Deliver and install equipment as required in accordance with industry standards and governmental regulations
Educate patients in proper use and care of equipment
Desired Skills & Experience:
Applicants must be customer focused with the ability to deliver and demonstrate to all customers on daily use of any product received.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
Must be able to regularly lift/move items up to 50-80 pounds
Must have prior carpentry skills; two years prior experience desired but not required
Mechanical skills a plus
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Courteous customer service toward employees and customers
High level attention to detail
Must carry personal liability insurance with a minimum of $100,000 coverage
Must be able to pass background and drug screenings
Must have valid driver's license with F endorsement and proof of clean driving record.
Must be 21 years of age.
