Our team in Lancaster currently has an opening for a Maintenance Operator
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain plant facility equipment. Such as pumps/ meters/hoses/Etc.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment.
Perform minor repairs on trucks /trailers/forklifts/ and other equipment. DOT and internal audit record keeping.
Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and troubleshooting.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, prints, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on pumps, equipment and plant facilities.
Insert shims, adjust tension on nuts and bolts, or position parts, using hand tools and measuring instruments, to set specified clearances between moving and stationary parts.
Perform a variety of grounds related basic maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, etc.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Move machinery and equipment, using hoists, dollies, rollers, and trucks.
Attach moving parts and subassemblies to basic assembly unit, using hand tools and power tools.
Assemble machines, and bolt, weld, rivet, or otherwise fasten them to foundation or other structures, using hand tools and power tools.
Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
YOUR PROFILE
Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
Must be able to certify on site specific mobile equipment as required (front end loader, forklift, man lift, etc.) for specific job duties.
General understanding of electrical equipment such as motors and control circuits
Welding Experience preferred.
Ability to learn process, equipment specifications and company standards by actively consulting resources, associates, manuals, training department and policies
Ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to all work assignments
Ability to perform work while exposed to outside weather conditions: heat, cold, wind, rain, humidity
Ability to wear PPE equipment
