We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Officer to manage the upkeep and repair of our Airbnb properties. The ideal candidate will ensure that all properties are well-maintained, functional, and provide a clean, safe, and pleasant experience for our guests.Key Responsibilities
- Property Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections of Airbnb properties to identify and address any maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances.
- Repairs: Perform minor repairs or coordinate with external contractors for more extensive work.
- Cleaning Oversight: Ensure properties are cleaned thoroughly after guest check-outs and are guest-ready at all times.
- Guest Support: Respond promptly to guest complaints or requests related to maintenance issues, ensuring swift resolution.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and replenish supplies (e.g., toiletries, cleaning materials) to ensure properties are fully stocked.
- Equipment and Facility Checks: Maintain and test safety systems such as fire alarms, smoke detectors, and security systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a routine maintenance schedule to prevent future issues and reduce repair costs.
- Reporting: Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and expenses, providing regular updates to management.
- Proven experience in property maintenance, facility management, or a similar role.
- Strong technical skills in basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations is an advantage.
- 2 to 3 years' Experience working with short-term rental properties or in the hospitality industry.
- Familiarity with Airbnb or other vacation rental platforms.
- Ability to use maintenance software or task management tools.
