Job Description

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright to join the team. This position is responsible for general facility maintenance in the warehouse in a production environment as well as in office spaces.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic systems

• Knowledge of HVAC, pumps and overall facility maintenance

• Patches or replaces plaster or plaster board

• Paints walls, ceilings and trim of building

• Clears clogged drains and replaces plumbing

• Comfortable working both inside and outside in seasonal environments

• Adhere to safety management standards and identify workplace safety hazards. Wear and utilize personal protective equipment as required and comply with procedures.

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

• Consistently, regularly and predictably at work and on time

• Other duties may be assigned as needed

The Individual

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
