MAINTENANCE MECHANICS 2ND SHIFT

On a daily basis, you will use your skills to troubleshoot & repair various production equipment, such as the CNC & metal stamping presses. Youll work on motor drives, robotic controls like ABB, Fanuc, Miller, & OTC. Youll use schematics, perform routine PMs, do safety inspections & repair of 110/220/8480 volt electrics, and complete work orders. Your goal is to keep equipment working to increase our up-time and product quality. Come join our great team!

To be considered for this 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic position, you need the following:

High school diploma or GED

Available to work 2nd shift and overtime, as needed

Own basic tools

Strong background in troubleshooting & repair of electrical controls & motor

Proficient in programming PLCs (500, 504, 505, 1000, 1500)

Able to troubleshoot electrical systems using ladder logic, relay logic, electrical prints and/or schematics, knowledge of 3-phase electricity, motor drives

Ability to read electrical drawings, & schematics

Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic press systems

Knowledgeable and capable of working with basic electric: 110/220/480 volt

Basic ability to weld and fabricate

It's where bold, bright professionals like you can reach your full potential—and where you can help us reach ours. * You will be responsible for minor assembly processes, such as rotor/shaft assembly, pressure plates assembly, and shaft seal assembly, as required by work orders and/or lean line operations. * You will be responsible for the creation, production, and attachment of all production and R.E.O. nameplates in accordance with the requirements designated on the case history and/or the Sales Order Addendum. The production of nameplates shall be accomplished using all of the designated processes and equipment located in the area. * You will be responsible for lock wiring all units in accordance with all specifications defined by the customer, by prints, and by case histories. The individual shall also be responsible for physically re-checking and validating all fastener torque requirements as required. * You will be responsible for visually inspecting and completing final unit pre-shipment operations such as installation of drive shafts, o-rings, caps, plugs, placement of lock wire "tamper seals", etc. * You will perform operator defined 5S/TPM tasks as required. * You will use of all tools and gages necessary to complete and to verify that all work performed has been completed to specifications as required. * You will sub-assemble operations such as, installation of pins, plugs, inserts, bearings, miscellaneous components, etc. * You will perform minor sanding, lapping, deburr or repair work as required in the course of performing the primary duties of the classification.
