On a daily basis, you will use your skills to troubleshoot & repair various production equipment, such as the CNC & metal stamping presses. Youll work on motor drives, robotic controls like ABB, Fanuc, Miller, & OTC. Youll use schematics, perform routine PMs, do safety inspections & repair of 110/220/8480 volt electrics, and complete work orders. Your goal is to keep equipment working to increase our up-time and product quality. Come join our great team!

To be considered for this 2nd shift Maintenance Mechanic position, you need the following:

High school diploma or GED

Available to work 2nd shift and overtime, as needed

Own basic tools

Strong background in troubleshooting & repair of electrical controls & motor

Proficient in programming PLCs (500, 504, 505, 1000, 1500)

Able to troubleshoot electrical systems using ladder logic, relay logic, electrical prints and/or schematics, knowledge of 3-phase electricity, motor drives

Ability to read electrical drawings, & schematics

Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic press systems

Knowledgeable and capable of working with basic electric: 110/220/480 volt

Basic ability to weld and fabricate

This position is based at our Vicksburg, Mississippi facility. The Production Supervisor is responsible for the overall shift supervision of a fully integrated Fabrication department including various CNC type machines, Power Presses, automatic machine processes, and welding. This individual will support the manufacturing Fabrication department team in achieving production schedule, product quality, product cost, and employee safety goals. This role will also coordinate with all functional and service groups to meet customer requirements, and drives performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals. The individual will also be responsible for implementing Lean Manufacturing tools within the focused factory, while motivating the team to create high performance culture. Responsible for the departmental implementation of Company safety and health procedures, ensuring required reports including accident investigations are complete and that all department employees are properly trained in accordance with Company policy and standards. * You will ensure hourly personnel have received and maintain proper training to operate equipment/machinery and tools. Ensures hourly personnel are performing work per company safety and environmental guidelines and tools and equipment are in proper working condition. Enforces department and company policies, rules and procedures. * You will ensure hourly workforce meets production, quality, customer service, and attendance standards. Creates written reports and documentation or uses PC's/CRT to retrieve and input various data including but not limited to, mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics, production information and schedules, attendance, payroll, inventory transactions, scrap reporting etc. * You will assist in determining staffing levels to meet production schedules within area of responsibility. Meets established department/company goals, safety, quality productivity, and cost/scrap reduction. * You will maintain records pertaining to their area of responsibility. Mediates employees' differences and resolves employees' grievances at the appropriate level. Coordinates all activities with lead supervisor and department manager. * You will participate in the pursuit and achievement of all KPI goals/targets for the facility. Maintains a positive attitude and supports Eaton culture. Perform other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to Area Rotations, and attending Training Courses.
