Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description Job Description We are seeking experienced Maintenance Mechanics for a global automotive manufacturer in the Machesney Park, IL area This is a great direct hire opportunity for tenured candidates with stable work histories looking to grow and develop career Pay rates between $28hr- $32hr DOE with all shifts currently available Ideal candidates: Are tenured (minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance industry experience) Have technical education or training and /or apprenticeship or journeyman experience Working knowledge of robotics, hydraulics and/or electric systems for both relay and solid state machinery, Responsibilities:

Test, inspect and repair malfunctioning production equipment/machinery Perform routine maintenance on equipment including machinery, cranes, forklift, etc. Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools, welder, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, etc. Knowledge for use of, Milling Machine, Brake press, Drill press, and general machine shop equipment.

Repair experience on machinery such as; lathe, mill, drill press, and other tools as required. Other duties may include: janitorial, plumbing, pipefitting, painting, carpentry. ​ Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in repairing production or manufacturing machinery Working knowledge of robotics, hydraulics and/or electric systems for both relay and solid state machinery, Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Company Description Randstad helps you get a rewarding job and stay relevant in the ever-changing world of work.
