Do you have experience in overseeing maintenance, leading teams, troubleshooting and repairs, preventive maintenance, safety compliance, equipment management, and coordinating projects?

Qualifications: Possess high school diploma or GED; three plus years' experience or training in the building maintenance field; general understanding of carpentry work, HVAC, commercial electricity, plumbing and mechanical systems; ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480VAC and perform minor plumbing repairs to pipes and fixtures; background in HVAC troubleshooting, including pneumatics preferred; ability to perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems preferred; ability to drive a snowplow and operate snow removal equipment; good communication and interpersonal skills required; general knowledge of a computer email system; ability to read blueprints and schematics; and ability to work independently while overseeing team workloads, providing necessary support, addressing any issues, and ensuring targets are consistently met.

Position Goal: Maintain and operate facility and equipment at its highest efficiency level to ensure a safe, clean and comfortable environment for students and staff. In addition, the Lead will serve as the main point of contact for project updates with the Maintenance Department.

The starting salary is $27.50/hour with annual increases. Schedule: This is a full-time, year-round position (40 hours per week), scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a duty-free 30-minute lunch break. A four-day summer work schedule is available from June through August.
