Position: Maintenance Mechanic III

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Exercise proper lockout-tagout procedures when necessary.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and fall protection when necessary.
Troubleshoot and repair issues with equipment involving hydraulic, water, electrical, and mechanical components and systems.
Complete hydraulic, mechanical and electrical preventive maintenance tasks via our electronic maintenance management system.
Help create and develop preventive tasks and procedures for the Max machines.
Assist the Max Team during new machine builds and modifications.
Use root cause analysis methods to solve problems, decrease downtime and improve operating equipment efficiencies.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 6+ year of experience working in a maintenance capacity.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
Lockout-tagout, fall protection, and RCA training is a plus.
Injection molding machine repair experience.
6+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Experience with a CMMS or other Maintenance Management system is a plus.
Working experience with predictive tools; Oil analysis, vibration analysis, thermal imagining, etc. is a plus.
Specific experience with hydraulic, electrical (24VDC-480VAC) and mechanical systems is required.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Good written, oral, & computer skills are essential.
Ability to operate forklifts.
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers, multiply and divide 10's and 100's by 2, 3, 4 and 5, perform the four basic arithmetic operations with coins as part of a dollar, and perform operations with units such as inch, foot, yard, ounce, and pound.

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
