Maintenance Mechanic III Per Diem Rotate

Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic III is responsible for preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance of hospital facilities, physical plant equipment/systems, and life safety equipment/systems. Additionally, he/she maintains overall aesthetics/cosmetic appearance of all hospital facilities and physical plant equipment except that which is the responsibility of Environmental Services.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

High School education/ GED

Required Licenses/Certifications:

• Minimum of 5 years experience with hi/low steam pressure boilers with pipe fitting preferred.
• HVAC license

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English and be proficient using common hand tools, power tools, and test equipment common to the maintenance trade.
