We want your knowledge and expertise Job Summary and Qualifications As a Maintenance Mechanic II, you will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of hospital equipment and building components.

Under limited supervision, you will help diagnose mechanical problems, offer solutions, and act to ensure the safety, care, and comfort of staff and patients. You will participate in providing patient specific care standards as directed, and follow service excellence standards to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction. You will set an example in professionalism and workmanship.

You will perform a variety of skilled maintenance, alteration, and repairs to machinery, equipment, or facilities as assigned and in accordance with basic skills and abilities, and standard procedures, diagrams, or manufacturer's instructions as required You will successfully complete repairs, seldom requiring additional work You will complete repairs in a time period appropriate to the task You will conduct repairs with minimal inconvenience to staff and patients You will install new and replacement equipment and building components You will perform preventive maintenance on hospital equipment You will complete all assigned preventive maintenance in accordance with the specifications listed in PM master You will execute miscellaneous work orders and answer trouble calls as required Job Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED equivalent Associate's Degree from a Trade or Technical School - preferred Experience Minimum 5 years' experience in maintenance or construction preferably in healthcare St.
