DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under limited supervision provides single source multi-discipline capability in the repair, maintenance, installation and enhancement of machinery and equipment representing high complexity with respect to interrelated systems. May also perform routine repair, modification and preventative maintenance tasks on building facilities, equipment fixtures and systems. Troubleshoots repairs and maintains facility plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems. Performs non-certified TIG & MIG welding, machining operations incidental to repair, and maintenance tasks. Performs basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis of equipment failures. Reviews service request for repairs and maintenance determines nature of problem and recommends appropriate solution. Performs required maintenance actions such as lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, etc. and preventative maintenance inspections. Job title will depend on successful candidate's job experience.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED.
3-5 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings.
Basic mechanical up to a Journeyman mechanic.
Experience with robotics, welders, and laser, PLC and/or CNC lathes/mills & Wickman machines is desirable.
Ability to use basic computer windows applications.
Must possess good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers and visitors.
Ability to effectively problem-solve.
Must be knowledgeable in skilled trades.
Current State of Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician license is helpful.
Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, boilers, high reach platform/boom lift and forklift is desirable.

Manual Lathe/Mill experience/band saw, basic plumbing, sheetrock, and Building maintenance
Forklift, boomlift, platform lift, Troubleshoot and repair equipment.
