"Everyone works together to reach one main goal and work towards representing our mission and vision." - Agrace Employee HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THIS ROLE (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) The Maintenance Mechanic II is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted and safe facility operations of Agrace properties. Job responsibilities include ongoing repair and maintenance of physical structures, mechanical systems, equipment, systems, and grounds.

Maintenance: Execute assigned preventative maintenance tasks and ensure safe and continuous operation of mechanicals, equipment, and systems. Collaborate with vendors to ensure maintenance and repairs are completed with minimal disruption. Monitor mechanicals, equipment, and systems to identify abnormalities in operation and proactively correct deficiencies.

Repair and Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair inoperable or malfunctioning building mechanicals, equipment, and systems. Identify improvements and refinements to preventative maintenance tasks.

Document solutions and improvement recommendations. Scheduled "Routine" Tasks: Respond to maintenance requests from internal and external customers and complete tasks based on codes, regulation, and general safety.

Participate in snow removal and the outdoor site safety program. Collaborate and communicate with contracted services. Act according to the agency emergency operations plan and departmental response and recovery.

Other Duties: Document work orders using computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). The above are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS) Ability to read and interoperate blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and mechanical drawings Basic knowledge of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment, light duty plumbing, basic electrical, and general carpentry Beginning Microsoft Office Suite skills Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others Experience using industry specific software Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to be flexible in time and task to meet organizational needs Ability to maintain confidentiality about patients, families, caregivers, staff, donors, and organizational intellectual property Ability to work at various Agrace locations Ability to use proper body mechanics and standard precautions Ability to participate in the facility operations weekend rotation and on-call responsibilities.
