Job Summary and Qualifications The Maintenance Mechanic performs general maintenance and light repairs on building systems including plumbing, medical gas, doors and hardware, electrical, nurse call and HVAC systems.

What You Will Do In This Role:Operates building automation systems.Responds to building system casualties and fire alarms and takes immediate action to restore services.Installs and/or changes out appliances and wall hangings.Performs scheduled preventative maintenance for building systems.Additional duties may include repairs of wall, wall covering and other furnishings. What Qualifications You Will Need: High School / GED or technical training is preferred

Five years' experience in commercial building maintenance including mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, building automation, etc.Experience in Healthcare setting is preferred. Medical City Dallas is recognized for its advanced medical facilities and commitment to excellence in patient care.
