Maintenance Mechanic - Elizabeth River

Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair primarily off road equipment used in the loading, unloading, transfer and storage of bulk materials, including conveyor systems. Move machinery and equipment to diagnose and repair. Diagnose problems and make repairs to heavy equipment, cranes, loaders, dozers, etc Work from blueprints, schematics or verbal instructions. Perform preventative maintenance on all terminal equipment. Complete all work in a safe and timely manner in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Minimum of 3 years experience directly related to diagnosis, repair and maintaining mobile equipment, conveyors and bulk handling systems.

Experience with welding, diesel engine repair, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting preferred. Crane experience a plus. Good verbal and written communications.

Ability to work with others Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and required Valid drivers license required. CDL a plus

Demonstrate aptitude to execute and maintain necessary records. Computer skills a plus.Must be willing to work in all weather conditions.Must pass back ground check drug screen and be able to obtain TWIC.

Must be able to work at heights, and have the ability to climb ladders and stairs.
