Maintenance Mechanic

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicle, machinery and equipment to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

Maintenance and Repairs

• Perform general preventative maintenance on vehicle, machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose failures of vehicles/machinery and disassemble, repair and reassemble parts as necessary.
• Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other professionals in coordinating maintenance activities.
• Answer road calls.
• Maintain and repair fleet equipment.
• Perform DOT Inspections.

Fleet Records and Documentation

• Arrange for necessary repairs in order to restore service and schedules.
• Follow daily check list (pre-trip inspection).
• Fill out all necessary documents.
• Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from work crews, supervisors, and field inspectors.
• Confer with supervising personnel in order to address questions, problems, and requests for service or equipment.
• Oversee inventory of equipment parts and place orders when necessary.
• Comply with safety policies and procedures
