We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic at or Denver, CO facility.

Description:

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns on plant equipment, machines and facilities as they occur. This position will schedule and perform preventative maintenance activities as required. Order and maintain appropriate parts in stock to minimize downtime on equipment. Insure that all repairs are done in a safe, timely and cost efficient manner.

  • Perform repairs and maintenance to equipment in a timely, complete and cost effective manner.

  • Provide and maintain a preventative maintenance schedule for all plant equipment.

  • Purchase maintenance parts for plant equipment.

  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations, lock out tag out requirements, and plant procedures.

  • Maintain a cost effective spare parts inventory as required.

  • Insure that the maintenance shop and tools are maintained in a clean and orderly fashion.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and PLC control problems with plant equipment.

  • Communicates with Plant Manager on maintenance schedules and production needs.

  • Responsible for maintenance repair budget.

  • Review all processes and procedures seeking ways to increase safety and productivity.

Position Requirements:

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent; College or technical training preferred.

  • 5 years of manufacturing plant maintenance experience.

  • Previous experience with plastics equipment a plus.

  • Experience with AB PLC and electromechanical skills a plus.

  • Ability to fabricate repairs, weld and use acetylene equipment as needed.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Position requires long periods of walking, standing, climbing, bending, stooping and twisting.

  • Must be capable of troubleshooting and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

  • Experience in DC and AC drives.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Familiar with Excel, Word and email programs.

  • Ability to work under time constraints in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to work at heights up to 60'.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Programs include mountain biking, challenge course, group hiking, teambuilding programs, stand up paddle boarding, adventure programs and more. We have an extensive fleet of bikes that participant use on our biking programs. These include strider, cruiser, youth recreational bikes, front suspension and full-suspension mountain bikes. The bikes are used heavily by beginners. We are looking for an experienced bike mechanic that can perform routine maintenance as well as fix complex problems. Key Responsibilities: * Perform weekly safety reviews of the bikes * Perform routine maintenance on the bikes - cleaning, lubrication, tire pressure, shifting, tire sealant etc. * Perform annual maintenance on the bikes - suspension service, brake bleeds, etc. * Identify issues with bikes * Fix any issues that arise such as part replacement, cable replacement, etc. * Teach instructor staff basic bike maintenance * Work with instructor staff as available to coach them maintenance/fixes beyond basic * Work occasional bike events; assist with bike sizing, check in/out, trail fixes About You Our ideal candidate will be an experienced bike mechanic who is capable of complex bike repairs. They will be willing and eager to maintain our fleet and will provide great customer service during events. They should be self-directed and capable of working without direct supervision. Candidates with experience as a snowboard/ski tech may also be able to work during the winter months.
