You Will The Maintenance Mechanic supports and maintains the sites manufacturing process related equipment. He/she is responsible for overall site maintenance and preventative maintenance and contributes and adheres to safety, environmental, quality and EEO/AA standards of the corporations, division and location. Responsibility and accountability includes, but is not limited to:

Assure that the assigned Process Safety related mechanical integrity inspections are completed in a timely manner. Support Process Safety programs through participation in compliance audits, Pre-Startup Safety Reviews, PHAs (Revalidations; Clean-Sheets) and other hazard / risk assessment activities. utilize available Process Safety Information in the safe performance of work actives as well as complete and provide feedback on Process Safety related training. Utilize Management of Change to assure timely communication and training of process related changes to affected personnel. participate in process safety related incident investigations and complete assigned action items in a timely manner.

Accept personal responsibility to act according to process safety regulations and company directives. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and climb steps/ladders as well as lift up to 50 lbs. Work at heights up to 50 feet Score minimum on pre-placement aptitude tests.

Basic Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED. 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment

Preferred Qualifications:

In this role, you will be responsible for repairs, troubleshooting, set-up, and general maintenance duties to keep equipment and machinery in operation. Maintenance Mechanic Job duties: * Performs packaging line change over and packaging equipment set up, start up, trouble shooting, including vision system and sensor adjustments; * Performs daily preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance to mechanical equipment related to manufacturing and packaging process, utilities equipment and ancillary controls * Performs instrumentation, electrical and computerized systems troubleshooting and repairs with assistance of Plant and/or Vendor Engineering. * Performs proactive preventive maintenance (PM) and planned activities as per schedule or planner requests, complying with deadlines and timely documentation.
