Maintenance Mechanic (1St Shift) - Geek Squad City

The Maintenance Mechanic at Geek Squad City performs preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on mechanical and electrical equipment at Geek Squad City (GSC).

Key accountabilities:

• Inspects, maintains and repairs Geek Squad City equipment including powered vehicles, conveyer, bailer, compactor, pallet wrapper etc. in partnership with Maintenance Team Lead

• Performs carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC troubleshooting, painting, build-outs, assembly, special projects, and other general maintenance tasks

• Quickly responds to mechanical emergencies and safety issues

Basic Qualifications

• 1 year mechanical maintenance experience, minor carpentry experience, electrical, and/or plumbing experience and/or motorized conveyor experience

• Able to stand/sit for long periods of time

• Able to work in a fast pace environment

• Able to carry/lift/push/pull weight up to 75 lbs. with or without accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical degree or higher in related field
