Meyer Utility Structures, an Arcosa subsidiary, is searching for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for our plant located in Ft. Worth, TX.

As a Industrial Maintenance Mechanic at Meyer Utility Structures, you'll be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of a wide variety of manufacturing equipment. Meyer Utility Structures is an industry leader in the engineering design and fabrication of concrete, lattice, and tubular steel structures for transmission, distribution, and substation applications.

Schedule- Mon-Fri 5:00 am - 3:30 pm and weekends as necessary. What You'll Do: Determine causes of and solutions for operating problems in manufacturing machinery, electrical systems/components, plumbing systems, HVAC, carpentry, electrical fixtures/switches/power sources, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Use blueprints, schematics, small/power tools, and electronic test equipment to perform a variety of maintenance tasks. Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production electronic components, parts, switch panels, electronic equipment, and systems. Wiring and programming of electronics and control boxes with PLC and CNC programming.

Make electronic, mechanical, or electrical repairs on all computer-controlled equipment. May be required to perform Equipment Technician work as needed. Follow all safety rules and practices.

May be involved in safety committees or initiatives. What You'll Need: Minimum of 2 years of relevant and applicable experience in a maintenance position in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

A high level of understanding and experience diagnosing and correcting issues with of PLC, CNC or VFD programming. Ability to read and troubleshoot PLC programming. Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

A general knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems/components, HVAC, carpentry, welding machinery, and handheld power tools. Experience with AccuPress, Kinetic, and/or Alltra machinery is highly preferred, but not required. A high level of dependability, a great attitude, and an ability to work well with a team towards achieving a common goal.
