We control 489 million tons of reserves of commercial silica, which can be processed to make 197 million tons of finished products that meet American Petroleum Institute ("API") frac sand specifications, and 79 million tons of reserves of diatomaceous earth, perlite, and clays. The Company is headquartered in Katy, Texas, and has an office in Reno, Nevada. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all tasks in a safe manner.
Be a role model and advocate for safety among co-workers Perform all tasks in an environmentally responsible manner Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks as assigned Perform general maintenance tasks as assigned by supervisor Complete routine paper and/or computer work (work orders, work hours, parts, etc.) Uses typical mechanic's tools, equipment, and inspection gauges Works from drawings, verbal instructions or sketches, and IFS work order systems Uses shop math on a routine basis Cleans debris and lubricant from parts, work area and equipment Clean parts, tools and working area Work on-call as required. Qualifications/Skills High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience 3 - 5 years of general experience as a maintenance mechanic, preferably in a manufacturing setting Valid driver's license Mechanical aptitude Basic computer skills (entering work hours, work orders, parts usage, etc.) Forklift, man lift, and scissor lift experience preferred; not required Comply with all corporate policies and the Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) while working. Strong attention to detail Possess an excellent safety record Consistently at work and on time.
