The successful candidate will have a background in leadership, as well as maintenance activities.
This position requires that the candidate oversee the team located in a number of places on the base and ensure they are meeting/exceeding schedules as provided.
A familiarity with preventative maintenance activities, ability to manage to a schedule, ability to identify and implement process improvements, solid communication skills, ability to understand and work with customers, vendors, contractors and team members, and commitment to the task at hand are all necessary to be successful in this position.
In addition, this position must understand the importance of inventory/material control including inventory management, time stamp requirements and ensure the continued licensing and certification of the team is maintained.
Solid written and verbal skills are required, as is face-to-face communication with the customer.
Candidate will be required to assist in determining/analyzing machines for ordering parts for maintenance and repair; additionally, candidate will be required to ensure preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to.
Position may require forklift certification.
Position requires agility and flexibility as the work is diverse and located in multiple locations.
Solid computer skills are also required.
Current or Active Security Clearance is Required.
High school education.
Additional OSHA, HAZMAT, Military training/certificates are value-added.
A minimum of 6 years' related leadership/management experience and experience in a maintenance environment is preferred.
