Job Details Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our leading manufacturing team. This role is integral to the success of our operations, as you will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing equipment and systems. With your expertise in preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and more, you will ensure our production lines run smoothly and efficiently.
You will work with a team of skilled professionals and play a crucial role in maintaining our high standard of quality and safety. Responsibilities As a Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include: 1. Overseeing and coordinating the maintenance and repair of all manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime. 2.
Implementing and managing preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan. 3. Troubleshooting and resolving issues with PLCs, HMIs, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems. 4.
Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality regulations, including HACCP, SQF, GMP, and TPM. 5.
Leading continuous improvement initiatives in line with Lean Manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and productivity. 6. Training and mentoring maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety and excellence. 7. Collaborating with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve equipment issues. 8.
Managing the maintenance budget and inventory, ensuring optimal use of resources. 9. Keeping abreast of latest manufacturing technologies and systems to drive innovation and efficiency in our operations. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Permanent Maintenance Manager position will have: 1.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within the manufacturing industry. 2. Proven expertise in preventive maintenance, equipment maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, HMI, TPM, HACCP, SQF, GMP, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, lean manufacturing, electrical systems, and troubleshooting. 3. A solid understanding of safety and quality regulations and standards in the manufacturing industry. 4.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of training and developing staff. 5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. 6. An innovative mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and staying abreast of the latest manufacturing technologies. 7.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various departments and levels of the organization. 8.
