Our ideal candidate is a hands-on professional who is excited by the prospect of overseeing the maintenance department, ensuring smooth operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This full-time position requires a dynamic individual who can manage a team, handle multiple projects, and work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Responsibilities: As the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for the following: 1.
Overseeing the maintenance of all manufacturing equipment, building facilities, and grounds to ensure they are in optimal condition. 2. Implementing and managing a robust preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime. 3. Managing inventory of all spare parts, tools, and equipment; ensuring they are available when needed. 4.
Troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner. 5. Developing, implementing, and overseeing the use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). 6. Working closely with other departments to optimize plant efficiency and productivity. 7.
Implementing and promoting lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. 8.
Ensuring all operations and activities are in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. 9. Managing and developing the maintenance team, providing them with the necessary training and support. 10.
Participating in budget development for the maintenance department and ensuring all activities are within budget. Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role in the manufacturing industry. 2.
Proven experience with facility management, inventory management, and troubleshooting. 3. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, corrugate, PLC programming, and hydraulic systems. 4. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives. 5.
Proficiency in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). 6. Excellent leadership and team management skills. 7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. 8.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 9. A degree in Engineering, or a related field, is preferred. 10. Certification in Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a plus.
