Maintenance Manager

This position will start out at $35/hour. Maintenance Managers are also required to be on a rotation schedule on-call phone for the community. This is a full-time opportunity.

WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT YOU BECAUSE YOU…

• Manage a team of knowledgeable associates responsible for the general operating maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds in accordance with current federal, state and local standards/regulations and company policies.

• Oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on, but not limited to: HVAC, elevator, fire and sprinkler equipment, generator, landscape, kitchen equipment and emergency pull cord equipment (life safety knowledge).

• Possess strong project management experience and able to oversee and manage others through completion of projects.

• Coordinate resident maintenance requests.

• Maintain positive communications with local fire marshal, building inspector, and any other jurisdictions governing the community.

• Assess property damage and file property damage claims in accordance with company policy.

• Respond appropriately to resident and/or community emergencies, assisting as needed.

• Must be able to effectively communicate and work with residents and staff.

• Can generate a warm, friendly, and caring manner on first impression.

• Can communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and visitors.

• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

• Can pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
