The Maintenance & Facilities team at LC is looking for a talented individual to elevate our resident and community experience in a values-based manner reflective of our purpose. In this role, you'll perform a wide variety of general maintenance repairs and services for an assigned community.

Make an impact through these primary responsibilities:

  • Oversees maintenance technician(s) and groundskeeper(s) and assists with directing work load and prioritization of work order requests.

  • Ensures all work orders are completed in a timely manner.

  • Repairs and completes upkeep of the apartment units.

  • Prepares vacant units for occupancy in a timely manner.

  • Maintains inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property.

  • Assists with seasonal preventative maintenance and routine inspections as directed.

  • Carries an emergency pager on a rotational basis for potential resident emergency service calls.

  • Completes trash compaction and ensures grounds and property remain clean and free of debris.

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals:

  • At least one year of maintenance supervision is required. At least three years of maintenance service repair experience required.

  • Previous experience servicing and repairing items associated with carpentry, painting, plastering, heating and cooling, and minor electrical tasks is needed, OR High School degree or equivalent; vocational training and/or equivalent could be combined with amount of work experience.

  • Strong knowledge and technical skills associated with light carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, HVAC, pool maintenance and installation or repair of window coverings.

  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.

  • HVAC certification would be preferred but is not essential.

Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals: * High school degree or equivalent, HVAC certification is preferred but not required. * 2+ years of previous residential apartment or facilities management experience required or combination of education and experience. * Proven customer experience delivery necessary, strong time management skills and attention to detail needed, and strong decision-making and problem-solving skills needed. Ability to operate tools and equipment in accordance to safety guidelines at all times is essential. * Valid, unrestricted driver's license is required.
