Maintenance Manager

Overview:

Coordinate and lead all Maintenance processes to ensure maximum site operational effectiveness. Specific daily duties for this position include implementing continuous improvement plans, budget/cost reporting, driving KPIs, and adhering to Health, Safety & Environmental requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations.

• Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.

• Maintaining all machinery to ensure it is at working standards.

• Creating and implementing maintenance procedures.

• Conducting regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.

• Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.

• Ensuring all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.

• Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates.

• Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.

• Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.

• Coordinate and execute installations of new equipment and equipment modifications.

• Establish and monitor critical equipment conditions and determine appropriate monitoring systems.

• Conduct studies and submit recommendations for efficient utilization of equipment.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have good theoretical and applied understanding of electrical theory, mechanical theory, and the manufacturing process.

• Able to lead, coach, guide and teach trouble-shooting and electrical/mechanical knowledge to lesser skilled maintenance co-workers.

• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task.

• Maintain positive relations with vendors, contractors, and internal/external customers.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, JDE, Maintenance Connection.

• Understanding of preventative maintenance theory and practices.

• Basic CAD skills and able to read blueprints/schematics.

• Excellent verbal and written skills

• Capable of, and committed to, following the plant and departmental safety procedures, food safety guidelines and ISO procedures

Salary range: $70,000- $90,000 depending on experience
