Job Description Job Description Maintenance Machinist $26-$30/Hour Job Description As a Maintenance Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up machinery for operation according to job specifications, adjusting machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently, performing routine machine maintenance, and inspecting parts with precision measuring instruments to ensure conformity to specifications. You will work with various machinery, including CNC mills and lathes (CNC Yam/Yang and some Mazak), and use G and M code.

Following safety protocols and quality control measures during operations is essential. Responsibilities Set up machinery for operation according to job specifications. Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.

Perform routine machine maintenance. Inspect parts with precision measuring instruments to ensure conformity to specifications. Operate mills and lathes, including CNC Yam/Yang and Mazak.

Utilize G and M code for machining operations. Follow safety protocols and quality control measures during operations. Essential Skills Experience with CNC machining.

Proficiency in operating lathes and mills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Skills in setting up machines and performing changeovers.

Knowledge of G code and M code.

Familiarity with Mazak and Bridgeport manual machines. Basic knowledge of SolidWorks.

Strong verbal, mechanical, and numerical skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong math skills. Experience with manual machining.

Work Environment The position offers three shift options: 1st shift (6 AM - 2 PM), 2nd shift (2 PM - 10 PM), and 3rd shift (10 PM - 6 AM). The work environment includes operating and maintaining CNC machinery and adhering to safety protocols. It requires wearing appropriate attire suitable for a machining environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $33.00/hr.
