Concorde Battery Corporation is looking for a driven candidate to fill the position of Maintenance Technician Level II. Successful candidate will perform routine and non-routine repair and maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment under the maintenance supervisor. Candidate will work within established procedures and processes and have a safety-first mindset. Concorde is looking for a candidate who approaches each maintenance issue as an opportunity; an opportunity to contribute, and an opportunity to learn something new every day.

Competencies:

• Perform skilled complex troubleshooting, repair, modification, installation and preventative maintenance on buildings, facilities, battery manufacturing equipment, and systems.

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance to include but not limited to: pumps, hoses, valves, fittings, filters, blowers, fans, electric motors, HVAC equipment, liquid/gas plumbing, gearboxes, forklifts, timers, and relays.

• Perform electrical repair, mechanical repair, and other mechanical tasks.

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.

• Log equipment repair.

• Comply with all health and safety procedures and processes.

• Participate in all necessary safety trainings/practices.

• Work safely around hazardous materials.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.

• Welding experience preferred but not necessary.

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Work in hot and cold environments.

• Punctual and reliable.

Education and Qualifications:

• 1-3 years manufacturing/plant experience.

• LOTO experience.

• Skilled use of hand and power tools.

• Plumbing, mechanical, and electrical experience.

• Ability to read blue prints, diagrams, and troubleshoot.

• Ability to use tape measure, calipers, and other measuring tools.

• Experience of using shop equipment: band saw, chop saw, drill press, disc sander, lathe, and mill.

• Dedication to excellent attendance.

• Must complete pre-employment physical/drug screen.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, early morning start time.

• Saturday/Sunday work required at times.

• 50+ hours/week.
