Responsible for the overall maintenance and repair of the premises of Welch Allyn - Milwaukee.
Maintain outdoor facilities including, decks, grills, furniture, etc.
Perform lawn and landscaping maintenance including fertilizing, weed prevention, plantings, etc.
Manage snow removal and salting.
Knowledge of electrical lighting, circuits, and panels.
Knowledge of compressed air systems.
Manage roof maintenance program.
Manage and maintain building systems including HVAC, lighting, and furnishings/fixtures.
Manage 3rd party cleaning activities including supplies management, scheduled cleanings, etc.
Schedule maintenance and repair of parking lots as required.
Ensure company vehicles are maintained as required.
Make suggestions to improve look of interior of building.
Organize interior of building, i.e. unused offices or cubicles, depose of un-needed junk.
Responsible for following safety requirement by wearing personal protective equipment, as required and identifies/eliminates unsafe acts in the workplace.
Performs other duties as requested.
Work at elevated heights using a scissor lift
5 years in building maintenance
Strong commitment to safety
The ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, often outdoors
Ability to lift and use a ladder
Occasionally lift up to 35 lbs
The ability to hear, speak, and communicate
Fluent in English
Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
Forklift and scissor lift experience
Strong mechanical, electrical, and construction knowledge
Strong ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Should have good problem solving skills
