GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist other Maintenance personnel with basic repairs and installation.

• Safely perform minor landscaping and housekeeping tasks.

• Various woodworking projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Assist in the installation of machinery, electrical circuits, water lines and low-pressure lines, working under the direction of skilled personnel in these areas.

• Perform minor landscaping tasks around the plant's exterior. Tasks will vary depending on the season.

• Woodworking projects such as building boxes, shelves, walls etc.

• Handles both hazardous and non-hazardous materials, according to defined protocols, and assists with maintaining all related inspection records and waste labels.

• Responsible for an array of housekeeping duties such as caring for the floors throughout the plant, garbage removal, recycling scrap, painting, etc.

• Complies with Eastlake Policies and Procedures, and with functional and cosmetic quality standards.

• Required to maintain an appropriate, clean, and safe work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to sit or stand for 8 consecutive hours.

• Capable of lifting objects weighing 50 lbs. or more, unassisted or by utilizing some mechanical aid.

• Duties include care and maintenance of equipment, tooling, materials, and work area.

• Ability to operate a tow motor.

• Ability to make sound judgment based on consistent and objective measures.

• Exposure to manufacturing environment, including dust, noise, and vibration.

• Regular Attendance.

• Woodworking skills are required for this position.

• Hazardous Waste Management training required initially and annually.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
