Job Description

The Gold's Gym Montrose Facilities maintenance team member shall be responsible for the general maintenance and supervision of the facilities with the aim of ensuring the users have a safe and enjoyable experience. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor the use of equipment.

• Carry out routine maintenance of equipment and ensure they are safe to use.

• Ensure equipment is returned to its rightful place.

• Ensure equipment does not leave the facility and report any missing equipment.

• Regularly replenish supplies in facility, e.g. water, toilet paper, paper towels etc.

• Ensure all the weights are safely and appropriately placed and properly used.

• Ensure users wipe down equipment with disinfectant at the conclusion of usage.

• Clean equipment with disinfectant as and when required.

• General housekeeping duties of the facility and grounds, including the bathrooms in the facility.

• Managing housekeeping staff.

• General maintenance of gym equipment, facilities and equipment.

• Purchase of general maintenance small items for repair purposes.

• Sets up equipment, packing and distributing of supplies and equipment.

• Maintenance and monitoring of overall building.

• Carry out any related activities upon request by Supervisor.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience requirements:

• Experience in assembly of gym equipment highly desirable

• Fluency in written and oral English and local language is required.

• Computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel and database software advantageous.

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
