ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs, to ensure the proper functioning of hotel facilities and equipment.

  • Conduct inspections of hotel buildings, guest rooms, and public areas, identifying and addressing any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

  • Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance, providing friendly and efficient service with a focus on guest satisfaction.

  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces and adventure areas, ensuring they are equipped for thrilling gatherings and activities.

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, replenishing as needed to support efficient operations.

  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to guest experiences.

  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to prevent downtime.

  • Uphold safety protocols and regulations in all maintenance activities, prioritizing the well-being of guests and team members.

  • Document maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and equipment servicing, accurately and thoroughly.

  • Embrace the spirit of adventure and teamwork, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment where everyone thrives.

You may be assigned these:

  • Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Participate in hotel committees, MOD program and task force assignments.

Our expectations from you:

  • Abide by payroll policies, procedures, Meals and Rest Periods policy and OLS Rules of Conduct.

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all hotel safety and security procedures as required maintaining a secure and safe environment for associates as well as guests.

  • Read and abide by all the regulations and rules of conduct stated in the OLS Associate Manual.

This is what the job requires:

Education: High school education.

Experience: Experience required by position is from two to three full years of employment in a related position with this company or other organization(s).

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to Lift, push, pull, carry heavy loads with cleaning equipment, i.e. pushing vacuum down entire length of hallway, carrying supplies from department to assigned floor, carrying dirty linen to laundry chute, removing room service trays and carrying dirty dishes to service area.

  • Ability to Bend, kneel continuously throughout the day.

  • Heavy with Cleaning i.e. dusting in all areas, retrieving dirty dishes, etc.

  • Ability to reach to reach all areas including: shelves, windows, ledges, pipes, under and around furniture.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, climb stairs, up to approx. 100 steps 20% of 8-hour shift (time period)

  • Ability to work indoors: 95 % Outdoors: 5 %
