Maintenance Engineer

Job Description Job Description Join our team at the Crowne Plaza as a Maintenance Tech. The Hotel Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining all equipment, systems, building components and ensure the safety of hotel guests, team members, and vendors.

Apply todaya to learn more. Responsibilities: Maintain timelines and work schedules in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.

Check work orders and night reports for any assignment to be completed.

Perform Preventive Maintenance work orders. Monitor and maintain all laundry and kitchen equipment. Maintain guestrooms using rooms preventive maintenance program.

Change air-conditioning filters per the maintenance program.

Check HVAC equipment: change filters, belts, and bearings and lubricate as necessary. Also, check for unusual noise or vibration, and adjust as necessary.

Change or repair locks as needed. Perform general maintenance to guest rooms and public areas. Perform guest requests as assigned.

Assist in all phases of repair work. Assist other engineering personnel as instructed by the supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Maintain the proper use, cleaning, maintenance, and storage of all tools. Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces Ensure the security of any assigned keys. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Previous experience as a hotel engineer is highly desirable or comparable maintenance experience at an establishment such as an apartment complex or office building. Maintenance Engineer for hotel with 200 rooms or more. Hand tools.

Able to carry out the physical requirements of this role with or without reasonable accommodation. Available to work varying days and shifts as business requires. Must be flexible.
