How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Electronic Specialty Gases (ESG) is a focused product line within the larger Air Liquide Electronics (ALE) organization that specializes in providing a diverse portfolio of highly purified specialty gases to our customers. The ESG product line is poised for strong growth over the coming years as leading semiconductor companies are making multi-billion dollar investments to expand manufacturing capacity in the United States and globally. The Morrisville PA plant is expanding its chemical process engineering and technical team to ensure it is well poised for these growth opportunities.
The Maintenance Engineer will be part of a 6 person team providing technical expertise and guidance to the ongoing success and growth of the Electronics Specialty Gas (ESG) operations. You will be responsible for executing 3-5 projects at any one time, procedure/process updates, and program management for plant equipment.
Understand and comply with all safety regulations and guidelines while on company or customer property. Attend safety meetings and participate in company safety programs. Report any accident, incident, or near miss.
Perform the work with the utmost regard for the safety and health of all involved. Accountable for the safety of all persons and the general public surrounding the facility.
Understand and comply with all applicable HS&E Standards and regulations including, but not limited to: PPE, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Forklift Operations, PSM/RMP, etc.
Understand and comply with the established Quality System and report any deficiencies and stop any plant operation if it is compromising the quality process.
Understand and comply with all Air Liquide Policies and training requirements including Intelex, Technical, Corporate, etc.
Manage in-house Safety, Efficiency, Reliability, and Optimization projects involving installations, integrations, and modifications of trans-fill manifolds, purification systems, compressors, cryogenic pumps, vacuum pumps, scrubbers, and other plant equipment.
Coordinate and supervise project implementation, control project costs, manage schedules, and ensure the quality of the projects.
Develop engineering documents including P&IDs, Bill of Materials, design calculations, code and compliance reviews, etc to support project needs.
Support the development and improvement of maintenance programs including Preventative Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, and Spare Parts Management.
Participate in the investigation and repair of equipment breakdowns including instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, and process control failures. Participate in equipment failure analysis and demonstrate good troubleshooting practices.
Provide operational and technical support and training to plant Maintenance and Operations teams.
Assist in the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures.
Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferably Mechanical Engineering
2+ years of plant operations or start-up experience
The salary rate range for this position in Pennsylvania is $92,000-$98,000.
