Maintenance Electromechanical Technician

• Safely and effectively perform preventative maintenance in all areas of plant, both internal and external to the facility. This will include, but not limited to, electrical, electronic, PLC programming, in-depth troubleshooting, repair, and completing maintenance work orders. Continually improve machine reliability and operational readiness through quality craftsmanship.

• Read electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic schematics and identify operation of system

• Install, operate and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and systems

• Inspect and test electronic equipment using multi-meters, ammeters

• Troubleshoot 24V analog and digital circuitry, electric motors and identify failures in the plant

• Set up and troubleshoot VFDs

• Troubleshoot mechanical systems and identify and repair mechanical malfunctions

• Use shop equipment, such as welder, mill, etc., to manufacture or repair mechanical components

• Recommend changes in installation specifications to simplify assembly & maintenance

• Monitor installed equipment to identify potential failures

• Communicate actions taken to repair the machine to operator and/or manager

• Communicate effectively with team members, corporate engineering, vendors, and internal customers

• Demonstrate knowledge of plant and process safety rules, safe operating methods, and good housekeeping standards
