Job Summary:

The Electrician is responsible for general electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and repairs.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and enhancing electrical systems and components including low and medium voltage systems and circuits

• Conducting predictive and preventive electrical work to ensure the reliability and safety of equipment and facilities

• Keeping work environment clean and orderly

• Following all safety practices

• Reading and comprehending various schematics and blueprints

• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair

• Completing all other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• High school diploma or equivalent, required

• 3-5 years of experience in an Electrician role, preferably in a mining environment

• Basic computer skills, preferred

Additional Details:

• Must be available to work any shift

• Must have the ability to work overtime (including holidays and weekends) as needed

• Work in this position may take place outdoors and be subject to weather conditions

• Work may also take place in an underground mine
