2nd shift Sunday-Thursday 2:06pm-10:18pm

Federal-Mogul's Motorparts Division is looking for a 2nd shift Maintenance Electrician that will help support our Aftermarket Molding Group. As the Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems, apparatuses, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.

You'll first hear from someone in Human Resources to schedule a phone screen, and then the next step will be a personal interview with our Maintenance Manager. We pride ourselves on moving through processes quickly, and you can be sure of transparency and prompt communication throughout.
Test malfunctioning machinery using test equipment and discuss malfunction with other maintenance workers to diagnose malfunction.
Diagnose and repair faulty electronic components such as printed circuit boards using electronic test equipment and hand tools.
Replace motor bearings and rewire motors.
May diagnose and repair faulty mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic components of machinery and equipment.
Follow safety rules, participate in safety meetings, notify supervisor of unsafe conditions and events hazardous to others and the environment.
Follow the Quality Management System requirements as outlined in the process notes on the press card, the applicable QMS procedures and work instructions; and suggests ways for continual improvement.
Minimum 5 years' experience maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment using schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, operating manuals and written procedures in an industrial environment. Mechanically inclined.
Minimum 5 years' experience fixing machine breakdowns and completing preventative maintenance work in a timely manner in an industrial environment.
Able to work irregular work weeks; Sunday-Thursday, Monday-Friday, Tuesday-Saturday
Experience troubleshooting electro/mechanical valves driven by 24 volt signal from processor, hydraulic pumps, directional valves and proportional valves controlled by speeds and pressures from the process parameters.
Intermediate computer skills. Presses are PC Windows-based driven.
Licensed lift truck driver preferred.
