Maintenance Electrician (1St Shift)

Key Responsibilities: Efficiently run conduit and wiring for various machinery, including 480v 3 PH, 120v, and 24v systems. Perform electrical installations and wiring of machines, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Specify and select electrical components such as fuses, starters, and subpanels for machines. Order and manage materials independently using purchase orders from approved vendors. Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests on existing electrical equipment to identify and rectify issues promptly. Ensure all electrical work performed is up to code and meets operational requirements. Qualifications: Proven experience as an electrician in an industrial setting; Journeyman status is preferred but not essential. Practical knowledge and experience in running conduit and wiring for industrial machinery. Ability to independently spec electrical equipment necessary for manufacturing processes. Strong organizational skills to manage material procurement through purchase orders. Preferred Skills: PLC experience highly preferred, offering a significant advantage. Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in industrial electrical systems. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with team members and vendors.
