Job Summary

Join Spectrum Brands as a Maintenance Lead, where you'll oversee routine and complex repairs, preventative maintenance, and manage machinery and facility operations. In this role, you'll direct a small team, ensuring safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks, while fostering continuous improvement. With a focus on safety, resource allocation, and process optimization, you'll play a vital role in our manufacturing operations.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of Maintenance Technicians, providing direction and supervision.

• Prioritize and allocate maintenance resources to support plant operations.

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment efficiency.

• Act as the first point of contact for maintenance-related activities and personnel issues.

• Manage projects assigned by the Engineering and Facilities Manager.

• Maintain documentation of repairs and maintenance activities.

Education and Experience Profile

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of college, technical school, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance, with supervisory experience preferred.

• Proficiency in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and performing repairs.

• Strong knowledge of machine control systems, welding, fabrication, and machine shop equipment.

• Ability to read machine blueprints and electrical schematics.

• Familiarity with CMMS software and basic computer skills.

• Flexibility to work a flexible schedule with occasional overtime.
