Position Summary...

As a Maintenance Associate at Sam's Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. What you'll do...

Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company steel standard guidelines, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management.

Cleans all areas of the Facility (for example, floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) while following Company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.

Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with Company Environmental Sustainability Program.

Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies needed to ensure a safe and clean facility, including ensuring that chemical supplies are rotated and stored in proper containers in preparation for their use and placing orders to replenish supplies are low.

YOUR ROLE * Plans / schedules maintenance workflow according to previously established production schedules and maintenance requirements providing inventory reports for department / plant management. * Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of maintenance work orders to meet completion dates according to requirements. * Order parts to keep minimum inventory levels satisfactory while tracking parts used and received logging applicable data * Expedites materials that delay maintenance schedules, and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions. * Prepares lists and purchase orders to obtain required materials, tools, and equipment * Assemble rebuild kits for maintenance tasks * Supervises hourly maintenance mechanics as needed. YOUR SKILLS * High School diploma or GED equivalent minimum requirement and 2 years of relevant experience with parts/inventory management or transferable knowledge with parts. * Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic equipment parts. Working knowledge of Manufacturing equipment. * Basic math skills, good written / verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail and organization * Experience in maintenance planning • Computer literate, proficient in MS Office, Lotus Notes and SAP (Opera) * Excellent communication of technical topics to different groups such as Technicians, Manufacturing groups and vendors. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills Henkel is an equal opportunity employer.
