Maintenance Coordinator

Quality Carriers, Inc. (QC), headquartered in Tampa, FL, is North America's largest bulk liquid chemical carrier. Through a network of more than 100 terminals and facilities, we transport a broad range of chemical products and provide our customers with value-added transportation services.

Essential Functions:

• Coordinates internal resources (shop and terminal) and third party vendors for the execution of

equipment repair and maintenance

• Ensures all equipment repairs and/or routine maintenance is scheduled, tracked, and properly

documented

• Review vehicle inspection reports

• Creates repair and purchase orders and procures parts using maintenance management

software (TMT) under the direction of the shop manager

• Maintains and updates inventory and reconciles discrepancies.

• Performs quarterly inventories

• Answers phones and copies, scans, and emails vehicle maintenance files as necessary

• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, preferred

Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities (Competencies)

• Be able to read and understand English

• Good communication skills

• Must be able to take direction/supervision and work cooperatively with others

• Ability to use computer and related software programs to accomplish assigned tasks

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance

instructions, and procedure manuals

• Be able to sit for prolonged periods of time

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point, a plus.
