Responsibilities

⦁ Ensuring that established safety goals are attained

⦁ Maintaining and supporting the employee safety process

⦁ Leading or participating on incident investigation teams

⦁ Interacting with work permitting process as needed and ensuring that all applicable safety procedures and other safe work practices are followed

⦁ Reviewing and Ensure Contractor Companies have current PQF and 7.10 qualification

⦁ Establish 7.10 expectations and provide oversight for assigned Contractor Companies

⦁ Interfacing and overseeing safety, quality, and efficiency of 3rd party contractors

⦁ Ensuring maintenance activities are focused on plant reliability improvements establish measurable performance targets that achieve excellent contract results and identify gaps to be resolved

⦁ Developing measurable performance targets that achieve excellent contract results

Responsibilities (continued)

⦁ Monitoring plant operations and advising on necessary maintenance changes

⦁ Interfacing with operations, projects, procurement, and equipment reliability groups

⦁ Monitoring and improving the Preventative Maintenance Program

⦁ Supporting budget development and managing actual costs to meet budget target

  • Identifying and implementing actions that improve contractor productivity and overall contract expenses

⦁ Coordinating with Planning ,Scheduling staff.

⦁ Producing quality services attend monthly Contractor Safety Meetings

⦁ Utilizing SAP systems to improve reliability, cost tracking, scheduling.

⦁ Participating/leading cross functional teams to accomplish the above objectives

⦁ Based upon the duties listed above the candidate must be able to foster a teamwork approach to resolving issues with Operations, Technical and Contractor personnel

Required Qualifications

⦁ High School diploma/GED

⦁ At least 12 years of related experience in the Petrochemical or Refining Industry in the Mechanical Maintenance or Turnaround field or an Engineering Degree

⦁ Working knowledge of Industry Codes and Standards

⦁ A self-starter who can work with minimal supervision

⦁ Ability to prioritize work to align with goals

⦁ Understanding of safety issues in a hazardous environment

⦁ Ability to establish respectful relationships with team members at all levels

⦁ Ability to meet deadlines

⦁ Computer Skills (SAP, MS Word & Excel, database experience)

Preferred Qualifications

⦁ Previous experience supervising contractor companies

⦁ Management of contractor planner experience

⦁ Primavera or similar scheduling software experience
